What are you desiring in life? Every now and then it’s good to be reminded of central issues because we can get so busy with ‘life’ and ‘performance’ that we lose sight of what’s truly important.
Here’s the reminder: If we are not careful in framing our pursuits in life, motivations other than God-honoring ones will try to creep in and take hold of us. It is easy to get caught up with paying bills, living paycheck to paycheck, trying to make our dreams come true and having our comfortable, American lifestyle - that we end up chasing money… instead of chasing God.
